Proximity Switches

Proximity switches are used for defining position of mechanism moving parts with accuracy of up to 0,05 mm in gaps from 1,0 to 5,0 mm (user-defined option). Depending on size and form of magnetic system proximity switches lock position in case of radial and peripheral forms of movement.

The applications of proximity switches include electrical engineering installations, machinery, automation etc.

The operation of these sensors is based on the principle of measurement with the help of magnet-sensible integrated microcircuitry for magnetic field induction in the gap between magnetic enhancer located in the end face of a switch and movable magnetic system installed on the controlled moving object. At exceeding induction threshold level the transition detector triggers, followed by switching high-power transistor of the output stage into conducting state.

In terms of their construction the proximity switches are designed in the form of cylinders made from nonmagnetic material integrated with enhancer, Hall converter and a microboard, which houses magnet-sensible microcircuitry, voltage stabilizer, transition detector, protective diode etc. The basic elements of the sensor are constructed on modern element base, manufacturable.
